Building Trust in Sustainable U.S. Aquaculture

From water use and food safety to animal nutrition and the environment, U.S. consumers have important – and sometimes skeptical – questions about farm-raised fish and seafood. That’s why The Center for Food Integrity (CFI), in partnership with U.S. Soy, launched a comprehensive campaign to build trust in U.S. aquaculture.

Using a multi-pronged approach rooted in CFI’s peer-reviewed and published Trust Model, we created a campaign that reached consumers, empowered farmers and strengthened community ties:

  • Expert blogs on key topics of consumer concern
  • Influencer storytelling about their behind-the-scenes farm visits
  • Values-based training, equipping farmers with tools for authentic engagement
  • Community Advisory Panel awareness – encouraging proactive, local engagement

The result? A strategy that made a splash and delivered lasting value for farmers and the communities they serve. Learn more HERE.
