Engage™ Training
Consumers, your employees, partners and investors increasingly are demanding transparency and truth across the food system.
ARE YOU PREPARED TO ENGAGE?
Engage™ is an interactive, discussion-driven training that gets to the core of what matters to consumers and builds trust: shared-values communication principles.

The cornerstone of Engage™ is equipping participants with the tools to effectively communicate using shared values in “critical conversations” – those day-to-day conversations that present valuable opportunities to effectively connect and ultimately build trust.
- CFI’s peer-reviewed and published research shows that communicating with shared values is 3-5 times more important in building trust than providing facts or information alone.
- Since 2007, our Engage™ training has equipped participants in the U.S. and beyond with new tools to effectively connect with consumers and other food system stakeholders.
- Engage™ is tailored to your specific needs and audiences, and to busy schedules. Offered both in-person and virtual, Engage™ can be incorporated into an existing meeting or conducted as stand-alone training.

Consumer Panels

Do you really know what consumers think and how their attitudes, fears and purchasing behaviors are shaped?
CFI’s popular Consumer Panels give the food and agriculture organizations an opportunity to hear straight from the source and then ask questions to learn more about motivations, perceptions and how the food industry can help them make more informed choices.
From food labels, technology and ingredients to trusted sources, animal well-being and food safety, questions asked of the panelists by a CFI moderator are tailored for your organization to provide meaningful insights. Panelists are carefully screened based on the relevant topics and represent a cross-section of today’s consumer.
“Eye opening” is how panels are often described. Organizations come away with new perspectives that can help guide communication approaches to enhance engagement.
